Hey there,
Things schools tend to do for an eco day are: community litter pick Recycled Fashion show Junk model competition Bulb planting Sponsored walk/cycle/run International day/ Fairtrade Healthy eating i.e. Fruity Friday, smoothie making Inviting an outside speaker to speak at an assembley or particular class about something eco. Take part in Forest schools Have a litter free packed lunch competition Reward for those that walk or cycle to school that day Have a look at the topics your school have chosen to do and look at activities that fit in with this. Hope this helps, Suzie, Eco Schools Scotland |
