we send Green Flag Eco Bags home with the nursery children.
these contain a range of seasonal books, both fact and fiction and a range of nature based activities, along with a planting project for the children to develop an awareness of the world around them, involving the parents is beneficial in supporting the experiences we offer the children in nursery.

We are just back from a wonderful week at Winmarleigh Hall. We had an exciting week and loved the experience. At the review of our visit we said that we would like them to embrace our eco ideals and intend to send them lots of ideas. Has anyone else visited Winmarleigh and could support us in our efforts to make Winmarleigh an eco friendly zone

Our school Sacred Heart is close to the Jupiter Wildlife Centre so we have made links with the ranger and arranged a visit to the wildlife centre and then visits to the school to help improve our wildlife garden.
